A Weekend in Williamsburg

A few weekends ago Dave and I had the pleasure of staying at The Hoxton in Williamsburg. The hotel was super modern, and very welcoming. They had everything on site that you could want from a cafe to a beautiful restaurant to a rooftop lounge. The location was perfect, right by the water and by all the hot spots downtown. Here are some highlights from our trip to Williamsburg as well as some recommendations in case you find yourself in the area!

Klein’s Restaurant is conveniently located downstairs at The Hoxton Williamsburg. They have a full bar and serve upscale American dishes.

This lounge area was located conveniently across from the cafe. It was a great place for people to meet and chat, or to get work done.

Dave loves vintage shopping. He actually has his own vintage clothing business. Here are a couple of the places where I found some amazing finds. Chickee’s Vintage (above) had beautiful, feminine pieces that I could easily incorporate into my everyday wardrobe. I fell in love with a camel colored YSL coat from the 60s.

I really cannot say enough good things about Loosie’s Kitchen. If you’ve never been, the next time you are in Brooklyn you have to go. It has such a great vibe, and delicious food. Not pictured here is the plate of doughnuts we demolished. So yummy!

The room was super modern, and filled with gold accents (which I love).

We had a wonderful weekend filled with cute coffee shops, brunch, vintage shopping, amazing dinner and drinks, romantic walks along the water, and more. If you’re looking for a low-key but super fun night away I highly suggest a trip to Williamsburg.
