One of 2020's biggest trends was the shacket. Perhaps it was an indicator of how our shopping behaviors changed in 2020, we were buying less, and 2 for 1 pieces like the shacket became tremendously appealing.
Not to mention the shacket's loose fit and laid back nature that pairs perfectly with jeans, leggings, and sweatpants.
So if you bought a skacket in Fall 2020 you might be wondering how or if you can style it for Spring. Not only that, but if there's a way to upgrade the shacket look so that it's less casual now that we are all starting to go out more now that outdoor dining, winery trips, and other activities have resumed.
Here I styled my shacket with a ribbed midi dress, a wool hat, and my favorite Senreve handbag. I opted for a universally flattering monochromatic look.
Tips for styling your shacket for Spring:
1. Try a monochrome look or tone. If you’re doing denim, try staying in a similar tonal family.
2. Try pairing your shacket with more feminine silhouettes like a dress or a skirt for a brunch date with the girls or brewery date with your boyfriend.
3. Try pairing with spring like accessories like hats, sandals, etc.
